I received an email with this image that had the appearence of running water in it. I tried to save the image but it would only save as a bitmap and all the animation was lost. How do you imbed animated images like this into MLK? I there a way to extract the animated image? Is the image stored in the email itself or on the sender's server. I cn't find any url in the code...

I'm copying the source code below and fowarding the email to you.

Hi Matt

Did you try using the MailList King Toolbar to forward it to a group:

1. In Outlook click "Forward" on the message
2. Reformat the message to your requirements
3. Click File>Save
4. Click "Forward to Group" on the MLK toolbar in Outlook
5. Choose the destination group(s)

Heya everyone,

I got this fun e-mail from a friend as well. (Animated too.) How can I send this (animated) e-mail to my friends? When I set to forward the pic it is solid and not moving. Can someone give me a step by step listing, how to sent it?

Thanks in advance.

Cheers,
Matt

OK, i've e-mailed it to you as an attachment.

Make sure you view it in a program that supports animation, such as one of our viewers (www.xequte.com/megaview/) or Internet Explorer.

Outlook doesn't give you a way to save it as a gif file (animated), but if you forward it to a yahoo, gmail or hotmail account then you should be able to save it correctly.

I forwarded it to my yahoo account. It did send it as gif. But when I tried view it or save it, it wasn't animated. Just a flat gif.

Warmest regards,

Stephen

The file will be an animated GIF, but for some (presumably legal) reason Outlook won't let you save to that format.

However you can still sent it using MLK's new toolbar:

1. In Outlook click "Forward" on the message
2. Reformat the message to your requirements
3. Click File>Save
4. Click "Forward to Group" on the MLK toolbar in Outlook

I did all that. Now where is the image?

Warmest regards,
