Posted - Jan 01 2007 : 02:55:31 We have created a Word Document that we want sent as the content to our mail list. We have found that Copy/Paste to the new message window does not work all that well, the formatting of the message gets all messed up. From within Word, we can use the Sent To - Mail Recipient method to get the document to a new message form, but how do we then get MailList King to send this message out? The option to Send To - MailList King is not available. Please advise. |

If you want to load a document created with Word into MLK you should use the save to HTML option under the MS Word File menu. Then in MLK use the load button on the message sending toolbar to load the file.
Unfortunately MS Word is a very poor HTML editor (full of proprietary tags, etc) and is not recommended as a source for e-mail messages.
There are many specialized HTML editors available that are better for the task.

Believe it or not in Microsoft's Front Page 2003 under Tools / Optimize HTML there's an option to remove Word generated HTML. Sheeh! Leave it to Microsoft to sell you the disease and then sell you the cure. :)
