I have just installed SmartPix Manager. I have a number of existing CDs with close to 5,000 pictures stored. This was done to get them off my hard drive and keep them safe. Can I add them to the database by loading the CD and selecting the files, or do I have to save each one in turn on my hard drive and then re-write them to CD? Or is there another, better way?

Hi Jim

You can just read the images directly from the CD. Make sure the setting is enabled under File>Options, Database to always create thumbnails for removable devices, so you can view the files even when the CD's are not loaded.
