I see that MLK mentions authsmtp.com as an option. My 15,000 optin newsletter can overload my ISP's mail server. So, I am looking to send from my domain and have the email NOT blocked as SPAM. Reverse dns is normally used as part of this process by receiving isps. Anyone have experience using authsmtp.com?? Normally one would alter the MX/spf record that is part of domain registration so it points to a new mail server. Not sure this can be done with authsmtp.com. So why would it not be treated as relaying and therfore spam when received by an isp? So in a nutshell: authsmtp.com in particular and ideas in general for getting around the roadblock of my current isp using some other service that allows bulk opt-in mail but mail that is not going to treated as SPAM.
Your ISP wouldn't mark your mail as spam. You ISP may regulate how many you can send with in a time period and give you an IP that is blocked as spam or on filter lists, but they wont get you marked as spam.
You can get a static IP, ensure its clean and send using MLK's time interval feature to get around this issue. Unless you want to fork out a load of $$, this is your best option.
