Cash App Payment Pending: Why? Cash App Direct Deposit Payment pending. If Cash App payment shows "Pending" in your feed, it means that your money is stuck between your account and the account to which you are trying to send it. It could be that Cash App is not responding to the bank. The pending status in Cash App is only visible in two situations. First, when the amount has been debited from the bank account but not yet received by the recipient. The second scenario is when there has been no debit from the bank account. You will need to manually accept payments for first-time users under the "Pending" tab.
