Dear Xequte Software User,

As hinted in our last newsletter, here comes the first of our major releases for 2002. Amaze 3.0 adds multimedia support, a whole new interface and improved transitions.  Read more about it below.

We also have a new release of SIS.  Our web interface for Smart Pix Manager databases.  It is now fully compatible with v5 databases and offers many improvements.

Presently we are engaged in development of a major new version of MailList King, which we are expecting to release mid-April.  Unfortunately there may be a small price increase, so if you are looking to purchase please do it now at the old price.  V4.0 will be a free upgrade to all purchasers since October 2001.

If you have any questions about these releases, please e-mail us.

Regards

* PDF SUPPORT FOR DIJI ALBUM?

* PROGRAM TIPS

* Smart Pix/MegaView: Playing the world's longest Compilation album

You are probably already aware that you can play all the songs in a folder by using the Slideshow function.  But how can you play just a selection of your favourite sound files?

1.  Select the files that you want to play (either one by one, or all at once) and select File|Bookmark (or the B key)
2.  Change to Bookmarks mode and you will see all of the files listed
3.  Click View|Slideshow

They will then all be played in sequence.  If you would rather have the files played randomly, see the settings under File|Options, slideshow.  You can also save your playlist to file for later playback.

* Diji Album Editor:

Since v3.0 Diji Album has allowed you to perform most common image editing functions.  This includes rotation, cropping, colour adjustment, etc.  You can also download our Photo Editing plug-in from our Diji Album web page which allows you to remove Red Eye's and perform your JPEG rotations and crops, losslessly.

The easiest way to take advantage of these features is to display the image editing toolbar using View|Toolbars|Image Editing.  When you select an image in your album, the editing toolbar will be activated.  You can also edit images on your computer without even adding them to your album, by using the image selector (View|Display Image Selector)
