It's just a quick note this month to advise you of the continuing development of DVD PixPlay.  Over the last few weeks we have added the following features:

- Much faster VCD creation (up to fifteen times faster)
- Improved VCD quality
- Can now add multiple background music files
- Added 30 New transition effects
- Ability to record your own sounds (such as commentary) to the slideshow

You can download the latest version (v0.96) from:

http://www.xequte.com/pixplay/

(Simply install it over your old version.  No new key is required).

We are expecting a v1.0 release around late June.  It will be a free upgrade for all DVD PixPlay users.  We may need to increase the price, so to get it for $19.70, please purchase now.

The following features are expected to be implemented shortly:

- Faster and better quality SVCD creation
- Ability to add text to images
- Improved editing and layout of text frames
- More image editing features

If you have any suggestions for improving DVD PixPlay please e-mail us.

2.  Rename the new shortcut, e.g. Smart Pix (Music DB)
3.  Right-click the shortcut and select properties
4.  In the target field, add the parameter /DB:<Folder> to the Smart Pix path, where <folder> is the folder containing the database to open, e.g.
C:\Program Files\Smart Pix Manager\SmartPix.exe /DB:C:\MusicDatabase\
5.  Click OK
