* PROGRAM TIPS

- Smart Pix Manager/MegaView: Quick access to slideshow functions from the system tray

You might not have noticed that during a slideshow a small icon appears in your system tray.  Hovering the mouse over the icon gives you the name of the current file, and clicking on it gives you quick access to functions to skip files or pause the slideshow.  It is particularly useful when you are using SPM/MegaView to playback your music files and have minimized it to the taskbar

- DVD PixPlay: Videos and Sound

With v1.1 you will find that DVD PixPlay now supports the intermingling of video files amongst images in your slideshow.  When creating video slideshows you will need to choose whether to use the video soundtrack or your background music selection as the sound of your slideshow.  If you want to use the video soundtrack option you will need to ensure that there are no images prior to the last video in the slideshow list.

- MailList King:  Sending messages created in other HTML editors

Here is the recommended procedure for creating messages in other HTML editors (such as Front Page) and sending them with MLK:
i. Create your message in your preferred HTML editor and save it to a file
ii. In MLK, select the recipients and click File|Send E-mail
iii. Click the open button on the message editing toolbar and browse for the message IMPORTANT: Do not edit the message body any further in MLK as the source will be reformatted iv. Click Send

- Diji Album: Aligning objects on your page

When you have a number of images or other objects on your page you may find it difficult to line them up just right by hand.  Diji Album offers a few tools to make it easier.  Firstly under File|Options you will find two grid settings that allow you to display a grid on your page and also to make objects automatically align themselves to the grid.  You can also use the alignment toolbar which is available under View|Toolbars on the menu

- EZ-Pix: More control over the slideshow

If you frequently change the order or speed of your slideshow, you should enable the Slideshow toolbar setting under File|Options.  This displays a new toolbar while a slideshow is underway to give you access to common slideshow functions
