Dear Xequte Software User, Downunder most kids are currently enjoying
their long summer holidays; including our twins. As usual, we will be
heading off for a few weeks of camping. Of course, what does every tent
need? A laptop! Yes, as sad as it sounds, I will be sleeping under
the stars with Pentium computing power at the ready. While it is
something I would love to avoid, it is not really an option as I constantly
need to be accessible by customers. In fact I have to admit that I have
not traveled without a laptop since 1998 (Yes, I did leave it at home for my
honeymoon in Canada). So if you email us next week and are
wondering why your technical questions are not answered as quickly as usual,
please picture me sitting around the campsite tapping away as furiously as one
can with a hotdog in one hand and a beer in the other. All the best for 2009! Please do drop
us a line if there is anything we can do to make this year better for you J Regards Nigel Cross Xequte Software nigel@xequte.com * MailList King V8.05

Time of Sending When creating messages that are scheduled for
later sending, MailList King will now delay generation of the recipient
list. This means that any changes to the list in the meantime
(subscribes, unsubscribes, etc.) are now included in the delivery. You
can also disable this functionality if you like. The option is presented
at the bottom of the schedule message dialog (i.e. when you click the
"Scheduled or Batch Sending" option on the message sending toolbar). Note the option is only available when:
- MailList King: Allowing Duplicate Email
Addresses in a List By default, MailList King will always prevent
two contacts with the same email address being added to your list. With
v8.02 you can now disable this checking to handle the situation where contacts
share the same email address. The setting is available under View >
Options, Other, Advanced. - DVD PixPlay: Adding a Stationary Pause
during a Motion Effect Power users now have another style tool in
their arsenal. You can now use motion effects to move or zoom into your
photo and then pause for a specified delay before transitioning to the next
image. You will find the "Stationary Display Time" option
by selecting Frame > Frame Properties, Motion Effect. - DVD PixPlay: Viewing Details on all
Slideshow Files Full Details file mode (available under the
View menu) allows you to see details of all frames in your slideshow, including
start time, transition and motion effects, caption and whether borders have
been removed. This allows you to quickly determine which frames need
further work. You can also configure which columns are
displayed by selecting View > Select Columns. - Smart Pix/MegaView: Automatic Scrolling With v10 you can now scroll an image simply
by hovering your mouse over the display. You can enable this by selecting
Edit > Cursor Action > Auto Scroll - Smart Pix/MegaView: Maintaining the File
Date when Saving In Windows, whenever a file is modified the
date for it is changed. If you are like me, you like the date for your
digital photos to specify when the photo was taken rather than when it was last
rotated. In Smart Pix and MegaView you can choose to
maintain the date of a file even when it is edited. You will find the
setting under Tools > Options, Other, Advanced |
